About ITDA Gas Blender Program

As mixed gas is such a popular breathing mix for Technical divers we have produced a flexible and dynamic program covering the most popular blending techniques. For both Nitrox and Trimix Diving...

Program includes: Membrane Blending, Partial Pressure Blending and Gas Laws / Physics and Physiology, History of blending, Safety and Mixing, Risks Assessment, Practical blending exercises mixing gases.

Certifications

Certification maybe for either Nitrox Gas Blender to 40% aimed at sports scuba divers. And Trimix Blending including nitrox to 80%/99% for technical divers... Any agency divers may take this program but a requirement is for Nitrox Blender (must be a nitrox diver) or blending course and certification maybe included in the Nitrox - Ntech Nitrox or Advanced Nitrox course programs.  For Trimix blending level the student MUST be trimix certificated (Any Agency)...  Note Trimix also includes; Nitrox as well...  1 Training Materials pack and two certifications that is great value for money!

Who can train and Certify this Level?

Any ITDA Technical Instructor who holds our Gas Blender Certification and has beening mixing gases (or assisting a blender) for a minimum of 3 months - Technical Instructors from other agencies may train and certify this level if they are certified and can demonstrate the experience levels required... They need only to register with ITDA Group HQ and may or may not crossover to ITDA...
