Entry Level Diving

ITDA Experience Programs

The learning process is very simple and effective, the process follows: Theory / Manual or Workbook, self-study or Instructor led (Classroom), then learn some practical skills to keep you safe underwater... Then your instructor will and assess and evaluate you.

1st. Experience level (No prior knowledge or experience) Limited certification, valid for 2 years to upgrade to "Open Water Scuba Diver" Certification, that will allow you to dive on guided tours and with a dive buddy or equal of higher level...   See Open Water Diver Page Link here!

You may also dive during the 2 year upgrade period without completing the "Experience Program" again but restricted to: Diving Under Professional Supervision, limited to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft. (Most shallow reef dives are in this limit)...

The ITDA Scuba Open Water Diver Certification is a full Open Water Certification to dive to 20m/66ft. and recommended supervised diving up to ten (10) open water dives... In order to gain the experience needed to be a safe competent diver, however ITDA certififed divers may dive unsupervised...
