Cave Diving Risks and Dangers
If you are NOT a very experienced diver or have not completed previous training with any training agency in Cave Diving, please DO NOT ATTEMPT to dive in Caves or any overhead environments. This type of diving is extremely dangerous and many untrained and inexperienced divers die in cave every year…
Also diving professionals and emergency
teams risk their lives recovering bodies and attempting rescues.

Why is Cave Diving so Dangerous?
Very simply for just three reasons:
1. No Access directly to the surface: / No chance of direct escape in any emergency... Cave rescue is a very serious business....
2. Environmental Conditions: These can change in seconds, from average visibility to zero and this represents a possibility for disorientation and possibly even getting lost! (PANIC MAY QUCIKLY SET IN) And being lost in a cave system with limited air supplies are always a very bad idea... A very high percentage of Cave accidents result in fatalities... Rescuers are also at very high risk...
3. Risk of Equipment Problems, a leaking BCD, loss of a weight belt or Regulator problems are all problems that can be handled on a normal dive but on a cave dive they can prove fatal... And often do!
